A walk-off error propelled the JV Dogs to a decisive, dramatic victory over Keene JV, 5-4.  The game was tied at four with Bedford batting in the bottom of the seventh when an error scored one run to win the game.

In the first inning, the Dogs got their offense started when Jake Oster doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

After Keene JV scored two runs in the top of the sixth, Bedford Bulldogs Jr. Varsity answered with two of their own.  The Bulldogs then answered when Ryan O’Connor doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

O’Connor was the winning pitcher, lasting two and a third innings in relief while allowing five hits and three runs while striking out two.  Steele Lambert threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Gutkowski took the loss for Keene JV, throwing two and a third innings, allowing three hits and four runs while striking out four.

Tinnin started the game for Keene JV. The bulldog lasted four innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out four Charlie Cariello (pictured) started the game for Bedford Bulldogs Jr. Varsity. The righthander allowed one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out seven and walking zero.

Maggie Foxx, Luke Smithson, Kaeden Elmer, O’Connor, and Oster each collected one hit to lead Bedford.
